Art Therapy

Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve a person’s physical, mental, and emotional well-being.  The creative process involved in expressing one’s self artistically can help people to resolve issues as well as develop and manage their behaviours and feelings, reduce stress, and improve self-esteem and awareness. You don’t need to be talented or an artist to receive the benefits, and there are professionals that can work with you to dive into the underlying messages communicated through your art, which will aid in the healing process.

Art therapy can achieve different things for different people. It can be used for counselling by therapists, healing, treatment, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, and in the broad sense of the term, it can be used to massage one’s inner-self that may provide the individual with a deeper understanding of him or herself.

 

  • Chakra Art Consciousness

This workshop uses music that vibrates with the same energy as each of the 7 chakras to release the emotions through meditation and then paint one of the 7 chakra with a clear mind. The workshops allow the participant to explore the energies and affirmations associated with a chakra and feel the vibrations from the art one has created. The vibration is then cross verified using a pendulum to see/feel the energy it has formed. The chakra image created can then be placed in a meditation room or a room of your choice to release the powerful positive energy.

 

  • Blind folded Art

Blind Folded Painting helps to let go off emotions through left handed, blindfolded, and experimental painting to music. By immersing yourself into an abstract painterly process you begin to create something from within you. By doing so you create a very unique and secretive visual, which is stunning in its complexity, without being explicit. That’s your intuition laid out in front of you. This technique is completed in 3 phases, which will eventually help to unleash the learning on how to let go, how to free our self from emotions and indulge into a process of painting and immerse into a new world of colours, love, intuition and enlightenment. Leave your worries behind...let your guard down and enjoy an evening of creative exploration...So much fun! you have to trust in yourself to experience a cool piece of painted art...blindfolded!

 

  • Angel Art Therapy

Guardian angels are always around to comfort us throughout the day.  You can contact angels any time and any place.  All you need is a few minutes to breathe and let the angels calm your thoughts. Come along and connect with your angels in a fun, relaxing, and therapeutic way which will help you to connect with your inner-self.  A short meditation will help inspire you to create your own personal guardian angel on canvas. No artistic ability needed as the point of the workshop is to strengthen your connection to the angelic realm and to create something meaningful to you, while enjoying a positive, healing & uplifting atmosphere.
